About Palm India Restaurant

Let me introduce you to Palm India Restaurant, a welcoming Indian restaurant tucked into 2548 Dickerson Pkwy #102, Carrollton, TX 75006, United States, and already a favorite spot for locals who love bold flavors and comforting meals. Walking in, the vibe feels relaxed and familiar, the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the aromas of Indian spices, and actually savor your food. The menu leans into classic Indian comfort food while still offering lighter and healthier options, which makes it easy to find something whether you are hungry for a quick bite or planning a full sit-down meal. Vegetarian options are well represented, halal food is available, and the small plates are great if you like sharing or tasting a little of everything. Palm India Restaurant also fits smoothly into busy schedules, since it offers kerbside pickup, no-contact delivery, regular delivery, takeaway, and dine-in service, so you can enjoy the same flavors at home, at work, or right at the table. I often recommend it to friends who want reliable Indian food without feeling overwhelmed, because the menu is clear, the portions are satisfying, and the flavors are balanced rather than overpowering. Coffee is available too, which is a nice bonus if you want to linger a bit longer or need a gentle pick-me-up with your meal. What really stands out is how approachable the experience feels overall, from ordering to eating, making it a comfortable choice for first-time visitors as well as regulars. If you are exploring Indian restaurants in Carrollton and want something that blends convenience, variety, and authentic taste in a casual setting, Palm India Restaurant naturally fits into that conversation. Service feels friendly and straightforward, which helps the overall experience stay stress-free, especially during lunch hours when you want something fast but satisfying. The balance between rich comfort food and healthier choices makes it easy to return often without feeling stuck in the same routine, and that flexibility is part of its everyday appeal.

I’ve had food catered to my house and church events from this place ever since they opened. They’ve never failed me as their Kerala food authenticity is very high. We even go there, grab a curry, or thoran, on a given day my wife was unable to cook . However, having a ‘dine in’ there was not on my bucket list. The ambience is not like that of a regular restaurant. So many people lining up to pick up food and eating in a crowded area is not my cup of tea. However, even though the ambience remains the same, the food ‘outsmarted’ my other pet peeves. We had a vegetarian meal and a non- vegetarian meal along with a special Mackerel fry and Indian tea. All together, $40.00 for Sunday brunch for two people. This is typical ‘Kerala’ food. And we enjoyed it…

Honestly, I never expected to find a place like this in the U.S.! I was on a business trip in Dallas and dropped by with a few friends and wow, what an experience! They’ve got fantastic chaya, pazham pori, amazing biryani, and porotta with beef. All the Kerala vibes right here in Texas! The owner, Salim Bhai, is such a warm and genuine person — made us feel totally at home.

If you’re looking for authentic South Indian food in Dallas, Palm India is a great pick. The food tastes just like something you'd get back home in Kerala

I really enjoy Palm India for its authentic Kerala flavors here in DFW. The food is flavorful and truly reminds you of home cooking — the porotta with beef roast is one of my favorites, and the biryani is always fragrant and filling. What makes this place even more special is that they serve the traditional Onam Sadya meal for 3 days every year. Getting a full banana leaf meal with all the classics like avial, olan, sambar, pachadi, thoran, pappadam, chips, and payasam outside India is such a treat and makes the festival feel complete. The restaurant itself is simple and casual, nothing too fancy, but the food speaks for itself. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, but the staff is always polite and the portions are generous. If you’re looking for real Kerala-style cooking in Dallas, Palm India is definitely worth a visit.

The music and food fit the place well, but it’s not really a professional dine-in setup — there are sheets and house curtains used as door dividers. The food was good though, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the spot feels more like it’s made for takeout than for eating in.
